FIFA Slashes World Cup Ticket Prices Following Fan Backlash, Some Matches Now Just $60
Following strong backlash from fans, FIFA has announced a significant reduction in World Cup ticket prices, with some matches now available for as low as $60. Even for the final, fans who were previously paying $4,185 will now be able to secure seats at a reduced price.
The global football governing body (FIFA) stated that for the upcoming World Cup in North America, tickets worth $60 will be allocated for every match.
According to the Associated Press, these tickets will be distributed to the relevant national football federations, which will then allocate them to their selected fans, particularly those who have consistently supported their teams in past home and away matches.
