Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto University of Law’s new Vice Chancellor, Justice (Retd.) Kausar Sultana Hussain, is the first female Vice Chancellor of Pakistan’s first law university. She has served in various judicial and administrative positions for over 25 years and has been awarded numerous accolades for her services.

Justice (Retd.) Kausar Sultana Hussain’s Education and Experience

Justice (Retd.) Kausar Sultana Hussain earned her MA and LL.M degrees from the University of Karachi. She was enrolled as an Advocate by the Sindh Bar Council in 1987 and was appointed as a Civil Judge by the Sindh High Court in 1992.

Justice (Retd.) Kausar Sultana Hussain’s Judicial Services

Justice (Retd.) Kausar Sultana Hussain has served in various judicial positions, including District & Sessions Judge, Additional Judge of the Sindh High Court, and Monitoring Judge, District Thatta. She has also participated in the International Visitor Leadership Program, United States Department of State, 2006, and was a Chevening Scholar, Centre for Studies in Security and Diplomacy, University of Birmingham, UK, 2009.
