The Industrial Liaison Committee of the Faculty of Engineering, Science and Technology (FEST), Iqra University (Main Campus), hosted a breakfast meeting for 25 prominent alumni on
Saturday, December 6, 2025, at the rooftop venue of the campus. The limited number of participants enabled the Dean and Associate Dean to engage in focused, meaningful, and interactive discussions with the alumni.
The event not only revived fond memories and reunited alumni with faculty members who had taught them years ago, but also served as a long-awaited reunion for many graduates. Alumni expressed their enthusiasm and appreciation for returning to their alma mater and enjoyed the hospitality, breakfast, and refreshments provided during the gathering.
During the session, Dr. Arshad Aziz (Dean) and Dr. Mansoor Ebrahim (Associate Dean) led constructive discussions on potential areas of collaboration and the role alumni can play in addressing challenges within the education system. The alumni attentively shared their insights, welcomed the initiatives proposed by FEST leadership, and assured their full support and cooperation toward institutional improvement.
As a key outcome of the meeting, an Alumni Steering Committee was formed to facilitate structured engagement, plan future activities, and identify actionable initiatives through continued collaboration. The event marked an important step toward strengthening alumni relations and fostering long-term partnerships for the advancement of FEST.
