International linkages and collaborations play a key role in the development of nascent universities, and this has remained a cornerstone of The Begum Nusrat Bhutto Women University Sukkur transformative journey under the visionary leadership of the Worthy Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Tehmina Nangraj, whose strategic direction continues to steer the University towards new heights of academic excellence, global engagement, and institutional growth.
In continuation of this vision, a delegation of the Sindhi Association of North America (SANA) from the United States of America paid a visit to BNBWU, Sukkur.
The visiting delegation, comprising Mr. Iqbal Tareen (USA), Mr. Naseer Memon (Islamabad), Mr. Ayoub Shaikh (Karachi), Dr. Inayat Khand (Islamabad), Dr. Allahjawayo (Islamabad), Dr. Aijaz Turk (USA), along with Mr. Dital Kalhoro, Chief Executive Officer, SRSO – Sindh Rural Support Organization, was warmly received by Mr. Abdul Salam Chandio, Deputy Registrar, Dr. Noor Ahmed Brohi, Director ORIC, Prof. Dr. Shahzad Nasim, Dean FMIST, and Dr. Zulfiqar Zardari, Director QEC.
During the visit, the delegation was comprehensively briefed on the Universityโs academic profile, degree programs offered, student enrollment, ongoing development initiatives, and the remarkable institutional journey of the past two years. The briefing highlighted BNBWUโs exponential growth in delivering quality education, fostering a conducive learning environment, and developing a modern, student-centered campus set amidst a lush green landscape.
The delegation highly appreciated the visionary leadership and tireless efforts of Prof. Dr. Tehmina Nangraj, Vice Chancellor BNBWU, and expressed great admiration for her role in transforming the University into a progressive center of excellence for womenโs education in the region. The representatives of SANA also extended their full support to BNBWU in academic, developmental, and collaborative initiatives aimed at empowering women through higher education.
The visit concluded with a mutual commitment to explore future avenues of collaboration, reflecting BNBWUโs continued efforts to build strong national and international partnerships in support of womenโs empowerment, academic excellence, and sustainable development
