UNICEF, together with the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Islamic Relief Pakistan, convened faith leaders, government partners and civil society for a national dialogue on child protection.
Scholars from different traditions highlighted how religious teachings support the care and safety of children. The event also marked the launch of a compilation of fatwas issued by Islamic scholars in support of children’s rights.
