Pakistan clinched the T20 Tri-Series title, defeating Sri Lanka by 6 wickets in the final.
In the final played at Rawalpindi Stadium, Sri Lanka set a target of 115 runs for Pakistan, which the latter chased down with 8 balls to spare.
While chasing, the Green Shirts got off to a confident start as Sahibzada Farhan and Saim Ayub added 46 runs in 7.3 overs.
At this stage, Sahibzada Farhan departed after scoring 23 runs, which included one six and two fours. He was dismissed by Asha Malinga.
The next batter to fall was Saim Ayub, who made 36 runs with the help of six fours. He was trapped LBW by Hasaranga.
Captain Salman Agha couldnโt play a long innings and returned to the pavilion after scoring 14 runs off 14 balls. His wicket was taken by Ratnayake. Fakhar Zaman scored just 3 runs and was also dismissed by Ratnayake.
Babar Azam remained unbeaten on 37, while Usman Khan stayed not out on 3, leading Pakistan to a 6-wicket victory and securing the tri-series title.
Mohammad Nawaz was named both Player of the Match and Player of the Series. In the final, he took 3 wickets for just 17 runs in his 4 overs, playing a crucial role in Pakistanโs win.
Overall, Nawaz claimed 10 wickets throughout the series.
Earlier, Pakistan won the toss and opted to field first. Sri Lanka had lost only one wicket at 84 runs.
After that, Pakistani bowlers produced a destructive spell, during which Sri Lanka lost their remaining 9 wickets for just 30 additional runs.
Kamal Mishra top-scored for Sri Lanka with 59 runs, including 4 sixes and 2 fours. The team was bowled out for 114 runs.
Shaheen Afridi and Mohammad Nawaz took three wickets each, Abrar Ahmed picked up two, while Salman Mirza and Saim Ayub claimed one wicket apiece.
