Yesterday, we had the incredible honor of welcoming Colonel Nazar Hussain (Retd.) and Mrs. Rehana Nazar—returning to Pakistan after two decades—to inaugurate the spectacular Rehana Nazar Squash Complex at Rashidabad.
The ceremony was further distinguished by the presence of Dr. Athar Mahboob, Vice Chancellor, Al-Kawthar University Karachi, whose participation added immense value to this historic moment.
Mrs. Rehana Nazar led the ribbon-cutting ceremony, marking the generous contribution of the Nazar Hussain family. This world-class facility, now officially handed over to Al-Kawthar University, is poised to inspire and groom future squash champions.
This remarkable gift will play a defining role in elevating student sports, beginning with the 47th All Pakistan Inter-University Championship hosted by ALKU.
