🚍🔥 Transport Safety, Fire & Emergency Response Training | University of Karachi

Under the direction of Prof. Dr. Khalid M. Iraqi, Vice Chancellor, University of Karachi and as part of the Campus Safety Project, Vertex HSE (Pvt.) Ltd. conducted a comprehensive Transport Safety, Firefighting, Emergency Response & Rescue Training at the Institute of Environmental Studies (IES–UoK).

Organized by Vertex HSE (Pvt.) Ltd., led by Syed Hassaan Habib, in coordination with Dr. Waqar Ahmed (Focal Person, Transport Safety Project, UoK) and under the supervision of Dr. Farrukh Nawaz (Director, IES–UoK), the training engaged participants from the Transport, Security and Landscaping Departments.
The Transport Safety Session was delivered by Mr. Tariq Nisar, Lead HSE Consultant and President, HSE Association of Pakistan, sharing practical insights on driver safety, risk prevention and safe transport operations.
The Fire & Emergency Response Session was led by Mr. Tahir Shaikh, Fire Safety Specialist and Lead Trainer, Federal Civil Defense School, focusing on vehicle fire hazards, emergency preparedness, and rescue protocols.
