Sukkur IBA University Confers 826 Degrees at its 12th Convocation
Sukkur IBA University celebrated its 12th Convocation on December 05, 2025, awarding degrees to over 826 graduates, including 31 medalists and 5 PhD scholars. The ceremony was graced by Chief Guest Syed Nasir Hussain Shah, Minister for Local Government & Housing Town Planning, Sindh, with Dr. Ishrat Husain and Mr. Hassan Ali Khan attending as Guests of Honour. The event was presided over by Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Asif Ahmed Shaikh.
In his address, the Vice Chancellor congratulated the graduates, highlighted the University’s major milestones—including AACSB accreditation, national accreditations, digital transformation, research expansion, and scholarship support—and paid rich tribute to the founding Vice Chancellor, late Prof. Nisar Ahmed Siddiqui.
Dr. Ishrat Husain praised the University’s values of merit, professionalism, and integrity, urging graduates to embrace lifelong learning and digital readiness. Mr. Hasan Ali Khan commended Sukkur IBA’s remarkable progress and encouraged students to aspire for leadership roles nationwide.
Chief Guest Syed Nasir Hussain Shah lauded the University’s global recognition and reaffirmed the Sindh Government’s strong commitment to higher education, celebrating the hard work of graduates, faculty, and parents.
