The Department of Environmental Sciences has successfully organized an awareness seminar on Pakistan’s “National Climate Change Policy, 2021”.
Engr. Zafarullah Rind, Lecturer Environmental Sciences, delivered a comprehensive presentation on the Policy Goal, Objectives and its Importance for mainstreaming the economically and socially backward communities and steering Pakistan towards climate compatible development.
Students of F22 Environmental Sciences Mr. Saqlain Abbas, Mr. Faisal Malik and Mr. Muhammad Salih briefed the audience about Climate Change Adaptation & Mitigation Strategies of the country.
At the end of the seminar, a question and answer session was conducted to address the climate-induced threats confronting Pakistan.
