The Department of English and Linguistics, Faculty of Arts and Humanities at the University of Agriculture Faisalabad (UAF) successfully organized a one-day workshop titled “Role of AI Digitalization in Communication Skills” at Engro Fertilizers, UAF. The workshop aimed to explore the transformative impact of Artificial Intelligence on communication, focusing on how AI tools can enhance human communication in academic, professional, and personal contexts. Esteemed resource persons included Professor Dr. Nailah Riaz, HOD of English Language and Literature at TUF, and Mr. Muhammad Ikram, a Certified Professional Trainer from Virginia Tech, USA, who provided engaging presentations and hands-on sessions on various AI tools for writing, presentations, language translation, and public speaking. The event attracted a diverse audience of students, faculty members, and professionals who actively participated in discussions about the practical applications, ethical considerations, and future trends of AI in communication. Key speakers such as Dr. Asim Aqeel (Chairperson of the Department) and members of organising committee of the workshop as Dr. Sabahat Parveen, Ms. Aisha Koukab, Ms. Hina Fatima (Anchor Person) and other faculty members contributed valuable insights, fostering a collaborative learning environment. The workshop concluded with participants equipped to effectively integrate AI digitalization into their communication practices, reflecting a significant step toward blending human skills with AI technology for enhanced interaction and expression.
