European Union in Pakistan’s Ambassador to Pakistan, Raimundas Karoblis, along with a delegation from the European Investment Bank (EIB) led by Head of Division Edvardas Bumsteinas, visited the Sindh People’s Housing for Flood Affectees (SPHF) office in Karachi, where they were given a detailed briefing on the progress of the world’s largest housing reconstruction initiative. In collaboration with UNIDO-United Nations Industrial Development Organization, Pakistan Office under the EU-funded PAIDAR Programme (USD 7 million), SPHF is implementing Climate Resilient Settlement Development Plans (CRSDPs) across five districts: Thatta, Badin, Sujawal, Tharparkar and Larkana, with the EIB also set to join as a partner in this endeavour.
