Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah has approved a $15 million grant for the new 12-storey Eme_rgency Tower at Jinnah Post Graduate Medical Centre (JPMC), Karachi.
The tower, with 722 beds and 17 operating theatres, will significantly expand emer_gency services and patient capacity. Funding will be released in two instalments over 2026-27 and 2027-28.
Additionally, the cabinet approved establishing the People’s Community Health Services Company to enhance community-level healthcare and modernize the Lady Health Worker program, ensuring broader access to health services across Sindh.
