World Children’s Day was celebrated by Gulistan Shah Abdul Latif Nursery/ Montessori and Primary Schools, Sindhi Muslim Housing Society Karachi

Today on 20.11.2025 World Children’s Day was celebrated by Gulistan Shah Abdul Latif Nursery/ Montessori and Primary Schools, Sindhi Muslim Housing Society Karachi to promote togetherness, raise awareness,of children’s issues, recognize them as active citizens, to promote values of kindness and empathy, listen their voices and advocate their rights to education, safety and well being.
This World Children’s Day is celebrated every year on November, 20 to mark the UNGA’s adoption of the Declaration of the Rights of the child in 1959 as well as the Convention on the Rights of the child( UNCRC) in 1989.
This important Day was therefore also celebrated today by the Gulistan Shah Abdul Latif Schools to highlight the importance of the day and to engage the children in different creative activities. It was a wonderful, beautiful and meaningful event with Mini Zoo, Puppet and Magic Shows and other various colourful activities. The children not only participated in the creative activities but also enjoyed a lot.
The event was attended by the Honourable Trustees, Principals of Gulistan Ahah Abdul Latif Schools, faculty and staff members and the parents. The Principal Nursery/ Montessori and Primary Schools welcomed the guests and highlighted the theme and importance of the day.
