First time in the history of parliamentary system Balochistan elected it’s senator unopposed. No horse trading no sale of vote and leaders of the PPP, PML N. JUI F, National Party and ANP successfully negotiated to elect senators unopposed.
The unopposed election of senators from Balochistan is the credit of President Asif Ali Zardari. He managed all parties and agreed them for unopposed election. President Zardari surrendered one ppp seat and elected the ANP chief Animal Wali as Senator from Balochistan while ANP have no seat in Balochistan assembly.
