The Taliban has seized the house of the Afghan ambassador to Tajikistan, Mohammad Zahir Agbar, in Kabul. The ambassador noted that the Taliban attacked his house, located in the Korta Chakhori area of Kabul, forcibly removed everyone who was in the building, and took control of the premises. Five years ago, when I was appointed ambassador of Afghanistan to Tajikistan, I left the country, renting it (the house – ed.) to one of my fellow citizens, who lives there to this day. However, the Taliban attacked the house with weapons,” said Mohammad Zahir Agbar.
Last June, radicals set fire to the ambassador’s three-story house, located in the village of Ruha in Panjshir.
