Hamdard University students took a commendable step toward environmental responsibility through a Beach Cleanup Activity, organized as part of the Civics & Community Engagement course.
The initiative was led by Ms. Nageen Shahid, with active participation from FEST students, who demonstrated strong teamwork, civic sense, and environmental awareness. The day began with the National Anthem, followed by warm-up exercises, after which students engaged in beach cleaning, awareness-building, and interactions with media representatives.
The success of the activity was made possible through the dedicated support and coordination of Dr. Umer Farooq, Ms. Noor Ul Ain, Ms. Aqsa Nadir, Mr. Maaz Ahmed, Mr. Prem Sagar, and Mr. Afzaal Hussain, whose efforts ensured smooth execution throughout.
This initiative reinforced a powerful message: protecting the environment is a shared responsibility, not a choice.
Small actions today lead to a cleaner, greener tomorrow.
