Australia Announces Playing XI for Third Ashes Test, Captain Pat Cummins Returns

Australia has announced its playing XI for the third Test of the Ashes series.

According to Cricket Australia, the team has made two changes. Captain Pat Cummins returns to the playing XI, and Nathan Lyon will also be part of the squad. Cummins had missed the first two Tests of the Ashes series due to a back injury.

Michael Neser and Brendan Doggett have failed to make the playing XI, while Usman Khawaja, fully recovered from a back injury sustained during the Perth Test, has once again been overlooked.
