Today, December 2, 2025, an important awareness session on the “𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐭𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐀𝐠𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐬𝐭 𝐒𝐞𝐱𝐮𝐚𝐥 𝐇𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐖𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐧 𝐚𝐭 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐞 𝐀𝐜𝐭, 𝟐𝟎𝟏𝟎 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐢𝐭𝐬 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟐 𝐀𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭” was conducted for #SRSO staff by the Provincial Ombudsman (#Mohtasib) Sindh at the SRSO Complex, #Sukkur. The session aimed to strengthen staff understanding of the legal framework and reinforce SRSO’s commitment to ensuring a safe, respectful, and harassment-free work environment.

Key distinguished speakers from the Provincial Ombudsman (Mohtasib) Sindh, Regional Office Sukkur including 𝐌𝐮𝐡𝐚𝐦𝐦𝐚𝐝 𝐈𝐪𝐛𝐚𝐥 𝐀𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧 (𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐭, 𝐑𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐃𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐭 & 𝐒𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐉𝐮𝐝𝐠𝐞), Syed Manzoor Hussain Shah (In charge @Provincial Ombudsman PHWWP Regional Office Sukkur) and Abdul Samee Soomro (Senior Officer) shared comprehensive insights on the role and mandate of the Ombudsman, the provisions of the Sexual Harassment Act, and its complaint and protection mechanisms.

Earlier, 𝐂𝐄𝐎-𝐒𝐑𝐒𝐎, 𝐌𝐫. 𝐌𝐮𝐡𝐚𝐦𝐦𝐚𝐝 𝐃𝐢𝐭𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐊𝐚𝐥𝐡𝐨𝐫𝐨, welcomed the Provincial #Ombudsman Sindh team and expressed gratitude for conducting this interactive and informative session on such a crucial and mandatory theme. He highlighted that SRSO remains highly sensitive to the issue and is committed to maintaining strong reporting and redressal mechanisms at the organizational level.
This session was managed and facilitated by #SRSO-HR Department. All Head Office staff attended the session, actively participated in the question-and-answer discussion, and were sensitized and informed on their roles in fostering a more informed, responsible, and secure workplace environment.
