Student leadership and academic excellence

Ms. Farah Naz Akbar, Parliamentary Secretary, Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training, graced the Investiture Ceremony held at Islamabad Model College for Girls (IMCG) I-8/4 as the Chief Guest. The event celebrated student leadership and academic excellence in a disciplined and vibrant atmosphere.

The ceremony commenced with the recitation of the Holy Quran, followed by a welcome address. Principal Shagufta Awais presented a brief overview of the institution’s achievements during the academic year. Newly appointed office bearers then took their oaths, pledging to fulfil their responsibilities with dedication, integrity, and a strong sense of duty.
In her address, Ms. Farah Naz Akbar appreciated the enthusiasm and discipline of the students. She highlighted the transformative power of education, encouraged students to uphold strong leadership values, and emphasized the importance of character-building. She also participated in a plantation activity, planting a lemon tree on the college premises as a symbol of her commitment to environmental stewardship.
Ms. Farah Naz Akbar was presented with a college shield as a gesture of appreciation. The ceremony concluded with a group photo session and a vote of thanks, marking a memorable event that reflected the college’s commitment to nurturing capable, responsible, and confident young leaders.
