YOUM-E-SHUHDAE POLICE OBSERVED AT SSU HEADQUARTERS; DIG S&ESD LAID FLORAL WREATH AT THE MARTYR’S MEMORIAL

Karachi: – On the occasion of Youm-e-Shuhdae Police, a guard of honor ceremony held at SSU headquarters wherein, DIG Security & Emergency Services Division Dr. Maqsood Ahmed, SP SSU Dr. Najeeb, SP Madadgar-15 Saleem Shah, SP Security II Syed Salman Hassan, SP Court Police Abid Hussain Qaimkhani, SP Security-I Hameed Khan, SP FSC Touheed Rehman, senior officers and police personnel of Security & Emergency Services Division paid exemplary homage to the martyrs of Sindh Police who sacrificed their lives to safeguard country and lives of citizens.
A special contingent of SSU Commandos presented guard of honor to the martyrs. DIG Security & Emergency Services Division Dr. Maqsood Ahmed accompanied by senior officers laid floral wreath at the martyr’s memorial and offered Fateha.
DIG Security also paid visit to the Security-I, Security-II and Madadgar-15 (Muhafiz) headquarters to pay tribute to the martyrs of the unit.
On the occasion, DIG Security and Emergency Services Division said that the day has great importance to salute the sacrifices laid down by the martyrs in the line of duty. This day also makes the families of the martyrs realize that the department will always stand aside them.
A special ceremony to honor the families of martyrs was also organized at SSU Headquarters where Dr. Maqsood Ahmed met with the families of the martyrs and distributed gifts among them.
The families of martyred personnel expressing gratitude said that we are not only remembered on Youm-e-Shuhda but are always supported and helped whenever in need. They added that whenever country calls, their generations would keep on giving sacrifices for the sake of this beautiful motherland.
