Special Assistant to Prime Minister Imran Khan for Overseas and Human Resource Development Makhdoom Lahore: Vice Chairman Overseas Pakistanis Commission Punjab Dr. Shahid Mehmood called on Chief Minister Punjab Sardar Usman Buzdar at Chief Minister’s House here today. Special Assistant to Prime Minister Imran Khan for Overseas and Human Resource Development Makhdoom Syed Tariq Mehmood Ul Hassan was also present in the meeting. The Vice Chairperson OPC Punjab apprised the Chief Minister Punjab Sardar Usman Buzdar about the recent performance of the Overseas Commission and his visit to Spain. The Chief Minster Punjab said that very serious and practical steps are being taken for the protection of the rights, provision of justice and welfare of the Overseas Pakistanis. He said that the PTI government under the leadership of Prime Minister Imran Khan has taken a historic step by giving the right to vote to the overseas Pakistanis. He said that the services of overseas Pakistanis for strengthening the national economy could not be forgotten. Chief Punjab Sardar Usman Buzdar directed Vice Chairperson OPC Dr,Shahid Mahmood to further improve and expedite measures for speedy resolution of the problems of expats.
