WHO IS ARISTOTLE or PLATO ADVISING MIAN SHEHBAZ SHARIF

Spread the love

Mian Shehbaz Sharif hosted a super grand lunch at his palace in Model Town, Lahore just a few days back and he must be feeling very proud, not just pleased, to see his former boss, Asif Ali Zardari, who was President of Pakistan while Shehbaz was Chief Minister of Punjab. Zardari now MNA came with his son Bilawal Zardari Bhutto also MNA.

Mian Shehbaz Sharif at this point of time, is not only MNA but Opposition Leader too as well in our National Assembly and ever since he had been quite authoritative in the recent past, and now without any authority whatsoever, he quite but naturally, is very much afflicted, agitated, disturbed, upset, knocked-over, saddened and turning topsy-turvy all the time, both day and night, thinking as to what could be the logistic to grab back the power and rule again and, therefore, as Opposition Leader he is trying to gather sufficient support from other MNAs belonging to all those different political parties whose members are presently MNAs at this point of time so that he has sufficient numbers on his side to succeed in moving no-confidence against my favorite Prime Minister Imran Khan Niazi.

Our constitution has very categorically, specifically and quite explicitly has spelled out that the opposition enjoys an inborn right to initiate vote of no-confidence as and when needed, against the incumbent government and, therefore from such point of view, I am also hundred percent with the opposition and not against the opposition even though my favorite PM Imran is being attacked and Shehbaz is going all out, one way or the other, to uproot the incumbent government soonest possible instead of waiting till the next election scheduled in 2023.

PML (N) which is headed by Mian Shehbaz Sharif is the second majority political party, after the ruling PTI, in our National Assembly and it has as many as 84 MNAs on its strength but still this number is very much short so far as tabling a no-confidence is concerned and therefore Shehbaz could not initiate unless and until he succeeds in getting other MNAs also on his side and under his influence.

Now when Shehbaz is bent upon snatch the powers from the incumbent Prime Minister Imran, hence consequently, Mian Shehbaz Sharif has two options only to choose the one which most suited him the most. Firstly, Shehbaz should reach other political parties convincing them that they should group up with him so that the opposition has achieved required number of MNAs under its umbrella to overthrow PM Imran and, if for any set of imagination, Shehbaz fails to convince other MNAs to earn their support then he should limit himself to continue shouting at full throttle in NA and just keep silent and forget about snatching the power from PM Imran.

I wonder how and why Plato or Aristotle for Shehbaz advised him to just invite the father and the son, Asif Ali Zardari and Bilawal Zardari Bhutto, only to lunch and ignoring the rest 54 MNAs of PPP? What could be the argument, logic, justification and rationale, if at all any, not to invite all the MNAs of PPP to the lunch instead of just inviting the above mentioned two only. No denying the hard fact, Zardari and Bilawal are none but the strongest pillars for PPP and, therefore, they both individually and collectively have great say in PPP and it is very much doubtful that their MNAs can ignore whatever they are told by Zardari and Bilawal for that matter.

However, no denying the hard fact, knowingly or unknowingly, Mian Shehbaz Sharif has given a loud and clear message to 54 MNAs of PPP that though they are very much honorable members of our National Assembly but, nevertheless, they are not that important that they also should have been invited along with Asif Ali Zardari and Bilawal Zardai Bhutto for the lunch under the reference.

God forbid, quite honestly speaking I do not want this to happen at all, if these 54 MNAs feel a bit insulted that they have been ignored and not invited for the lunch, then may be just a few, if not more, of them do not even listen anymore to Zardari or Bilawal or both to participate in the proceedings of no-confidence against PM Imran then, in the absence of so many PPP votes, how vote of no confidence can be successful, is the most mind-boggling, trifling and heart-sinking question to be truly honest which needs answer and must not be ignored in the greatest interest of the issue.

Should I not invite the attention of Mian Shehbaz Sharif as to what does PM Imran do as and when he wants all his MNAs of PTI and allied parties to be present to attend NA assembly session and vote for the annual budget or any other such like occasion? PM Imran, each and every time has invited each and every MNA to lunch or dinner, whatever arranged, ensuring that none is missed out and the result is that each and every time, PM Imran triumphed in his such tactical move even though the invitees were none but from PTI and its allied parties.

In all fairness, let me pronounce it quite loudly and clearly, but for the benefit of Shehbaz only and of course not mine, that it must be remembered and must not be forgotten even for a fraction of a second that under all circumstances, even if odd, Shehbaz has no alternative but to convince each and every MNA of other political parties be it PPP or others to vote for of no confidence otherwise I can very safely predict that PM Imran cannot be defeated come what may.

Done is done but still something can be done, rather must be done, as I having read human psychology, very honestly and sincerely suggest that Shehbaz must immediately host yet another party, lunch or dinner, preferably both under the given fragile situation for all 56 MNAs of PPP, of course including Zardari and Bilawal, so that he is not embarrassed at the time when proceedings for vote no-confidence against PM Imran Khan Niazi are being initiated and tabled in our august National Assembly
