We arranged 12 buses not 1. Now I have shared the pics if that very bus in which that lady was sitting. It is clearly a new bus and not an “ old Mazda”. Going from GT road was also appreciated by passengers also because they kept getting dropped at various places. Our staff never accompanies the passengers but we can do it from next flight. But sending one staff with each bus, in case of 12-13 buses, will have its own challenges. Nevertheless now u can see for your self that these buses were arranged at a very short notices but still they were of good standard. The behaviour of the driver could not be predicted or foreseen. But in future we will try our best to send our staff on the bus.

I went through the narrative by dearest friends.

While accepting that it must be utter disaster for people who embarked upon aircraft for a planned safe eventless trip

I am still digging deep to ensure guys responsible are taken care of but here is a preliminary aspect

Challenge is that due to sudden and severe weather conditions at Lahore, all the enroute flights have to be diverted to alternate, Islamabad

Normally during this season we dont face such huge diversions but due to lack of planning and calibrations of the instrument landing systems on runway by the airport authorities, it’s a big mess this time around.

You must be aware that BA has already suspended its flights due to various reasons including
non availability of ILS, winter weather of fog,
Runway repair and invariable delays at immigration due to congestion leading to expenses on diversion, small window of operation, duty limitations faced leading to poor economy of each of their flights

The same was already reported upon in media too.

Diverting to alternate airport and arranging transportation while taking annoyance of the passengers is not good for any airline. While we do have SoPs in place to exercise the same.

I’ve seen the pictures of the bus, it was not a Mazda van, it was a proper comfortable wifi enabled bus. The team at ISB had to arrange buses for 500 pax within an hour. That means 12 to 13 buses in really bad weather.

It took GT road as motorway was closed by the Motorway Police due to slippery road at different sections.

However bad service cannot be tolerated. I will investigate myself and if I find any slackness, the person will be taken to the task as I do not tolerate such things.

Sir from the first pick , the new bus Yutong tag is clearly visible. Buses were all of good standard. Now where did they stop for prayers is something we didn’t know about. I will try to get some evidence of the water being sent onboard.
