England Women booked their place in the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup final after defeating South Africa Women by 40 runs in the second semifinal at the historic The Oval.<\/p>\n

Chasing a target of 170, South Africa were restricted to 129\/8 in their 20 overs despite a fighting half-century from Tazmin Brits, who scored 51 runs. England bowlers Lauren Bell and Charlie Dean claimed two wickets each to seal a convincing victory.<\/p>\n

Earlier, England posted 169\/5 after being sent in to bat. Captain Nat Sciver-Brunt led from the front with a brilliant 75 off 47 balls, including 11 fours and a six, while Heather Knight contributed 58 runs. For South Africa, Nonkululeko Mlaba and Shabnim Ismail picked up two wickets each.<\/p>\n
