Karachi: Dow University of Health Sciences Pro Vice Chancellor Prof. Jahan Ara Hasan said that the victory of \u201cMa\u2019rqa-e-Haq\u201d had not only strengthened national unity but also elevated Pakistan\u2019s stature in the world, adding that the nation takes pride in its armed forces.<\/p>\n

She expressed these views while addressing the \u201cMa\u2019rqa-e-Haq Solidarity Day\u201d ceremony organized by the Institute of Business and Health Management (IBHM) of Dow University of Health Sciences as the chief guest.

\nSpeaking on the occasion, Prof. Asima Faisal also highlighted the importance of national solidarity and patriotism among students and academic institutions.<\/p>\n

The programme commenced with the recitation of the Holy Quran, followed by a ribbon-cutting ceremony jointly performed by Prof. Jahan Ara Hasan and Prof. Asima Faisal. A symbolic aircraft activity was also presented to express solidarity with the armed forces and to promote the spirit of patriotism. Participants also attended a special discussion on the significance of \u201cMa\u2019rqa-e-Haq\u201d in the national context.

\nStudents and faculty members enthusiastically participated in the event. The participants showcased Pakistan\u2019s cultural diversity through traditional regional attire, cultural stalls, regional cuisines and interactive activities, while a photobooth remained a major attraction for attendees.<\/p>\n

According to the organisers, the event served as an effective platform for promoting national unity, cultural harmony, social engagement and patriotism within the university community.<\/p>\n
