Chairman Higher Education Commission Prof. Dr. Niaz Ahmad Akhtar visited Benazir Bhutto Shaheed University of Technology and Skill Development, Khairpur on April 23, 2026, where he inaugurated a newly constructed Multipurpose Hall and a real-time Air Quality Monitoring System.Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Rasool Bux Mahar warmly welcomed the Chairman and highlighted HEC\u2019s pivotal role in transforming Pakistan\u2019s higher\"\" education landscape through quality education, research promotion, and institutional capacity building. He credited Dr. Akhtar\u2019s visionary leadership for guiding universities toward innovation and global relevance.The newly launched Air Quality Monitoring System marks a major technological milestone and is among the first such initiatives in public sector universities of Sindh.
