The gathering convened Habib University\u2019s community of Mohsineen, members of the Habib Family, leading philanthropists, business leaders, and corporate partners to reflect on a powerful question: If the Muslim world contributes nearly a trillion dollars annually in zakat and philanthropy, surpassing charitable giving of developed regions such as Europe and United States, why have we not transformed this blossom of hope into a flourishing, enduring forest?
\nDrawing inspiration from the rich tradition of Islamic philanthropy, rooted in building institutions and supporting scholarship, Habib University invites philanthropists to realign their giving toward higher education and reshape philanthropy for Pakistan\u2019s future. By channeling Pakistan\u2019s generosity towards institutions and Habib University, the event called for strengthening national capacity at scale, transforming short-term relief into lasting impact.
