The visit was conducted under the supervision of Dr. Zeeshan Alam Nayyar, In-Charge, Department of Applied Physics, and took place on January 21, 2026.
\nThe study visit provided students with valuable practical exposure to renewable energy generation, wind turbine technology, grid integration, and sustainable power systems. This hands-on industrial experience effectively complemented classroom instruction by bridging theoretical knowledge with real-world applications.
\nThrough this visit, students were able to achieve the following Course Learning Outcomes (CLOs):
\nCLO-1: Understand the fundamental principles and working mechanisms of wind energy conversion systems.
\nCLO-2: Analyze the role of wind power in sustainable and clean energy generation.
\nCLO-3: Relate theoretical concepts of renewable energy systems to real-world industrial applications.
\nCLO-4: Evaluate the operational, environmental, and economic aspects of wind-based power plants.
\nSuch academic\u2013industry engagements play a crucial role in enhancing students\u2019 practical understanding and preparing them to address emerging challenges in the renewable energy sector.<\/p>\n
