Provincial Minister for Literacy and Non-Formal Education Raja Rashid Hafeez has said that the Holy Prophet (PBUH) is a beacon of life for the entire humanity. He was addressing at the prize distribution ceremony of Naat and Speech Competition among school students in connection with Ashra Shan-e-Rehmatul-lil-Alameen here on Saturday. The event was arranged under auspices of Punjab Arts Council in collaboration with APPSMA.
He said that the Prime Minister has declared the establishment of the Shan-e-Rehmatul-lil-Alameen Authority which has been appreciated by the Muslims. Raja Rashid Hafeez emphasized learning from the ideal life of the Prophet. He said that our Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) preached good deeds, peace, forgiveness, tolerance and mercy to the improvement of humanity. Naheed Manzoor said that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) preached Islam on the basis of his high quality role and announced his prophecy based on his truth and honesty. Abrar Ahmed Khan Divisional President APPSMA said that such kind of competitions would be helpful for the children to understand the spirit of Islam. Prof. Baqir Wasim, Prof. Sadaqat Tahir and Shozab Kashir adjudged the competitions. As per decision, Abdul Hadi secured first, Rehalf Rani secured second, Sapna Zia third and Manahil remained fourth in speech competition while Saima Noor first, Anaya second, Faiza Rizwan third and Syeda Urwa remained fourth in naat competition. Director Arts Council Waqar Ahmed thanked distinguished guests at the end of the ceremony.
